Employability Support

Activity Agreements
Supporting young people, aged 16-19

‘Activity Agreements’ support school leavers to gain skills and build confidence. They are plans to help young people prepare for employment, training, education and/or volunteering, building networks of support.

To access an activity agreement, you must be: 16-19 years of age, not be in a job, education or training.

You will receive support from an Activity Agreement key worker who will help you to work on an individual plan to help you reach your goals.

Your agreement could include completing a youth award, music, arts or outdoor activities. You can also take part in group activities with other local participants and get involved in community projects.

You may be eligible for Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA). This is £30 per week based on your participation and attendance.

Our Activity Agreement programme is enhanced by working in partnership with Skills Development Scotland, Perth & Kinross Council and voluntary community groups in the Strathearn and Strathallan areas.

A referral system is in place. These can be done through Skills Development Scotland, your secondary school or you can also self-refer.
